SelectQuote is executing a strategic shift from declining Senior insurance distribution toward Healthcare Services and SelectRx, which drove consolidated revenue growth from $1.32 billion in FY2024 to $1.62 billion in FY2026. FY2026 showed improved operating income of $73.9 million and positive operating cash flow of $31.9 million, helped by lower interest expense, but Senior volumes and lifetime value continued to decline and Healthcare Services EBITDA was essentially flat at $25.5 million. The outlook is balanced by significant carrier concentration, a $423.2 million preferred-stock liquidation preference, and material NYSE and DOJ litigation risks.

What stood out

The parts that mattered.

Pulled out of the filing itself, with the figures the company reported.

Healthcare Services drives growth
The company is shifting toward higher-growth Healthcare Services, particularly pharmacy: Healthcare Services revenue rose 55% in FY2025 and another 14% in FY2026 to $844.9 million, while pharmacy revenue reached $830.9 million. SelectRx members increased 31% in FY2025 and 1% in FY2026 to 109,039, while prescriptions shipped per day rose 16% in FY2026 to 32,215.
Operating profit and cash flow recovered
Profitability and operating cash generation improved on a GAAP basis. Income from operations increased from $64.6 million in FY2024 to $68.5 million in FY2025 and $73.9 million in FY2026, while operating cash flow moved from $15.2 million to negative $11.7 million and then positive $31.9 million.
Life segment expands steadily
The Life segment is producing steady growth, with revenue increasing 10% in FY2025 and 8% in FY2026 to $186.0 million. FY2026 term commissions rose 7% to $80.0 million and final expense commissions rose 9% to $85.0 million.
Technology and AI remain strategic moat
SelectQuote identifies its proprietary AI- and data-science-enabled lead routing and workflow platform as a competitive advantage, supported by more than 40 years of accumulated data and millions of data points. In FY2026, AI-powered contact-center technology expanded licensed-agent capacity and was intended to improve productivity and reduce consumer acquisition and servicing costs.
Refinancing lowers interest burden
The company materially reduced financing costs after refinancing and repaying debt. Net interest expense declined 44% to $44.5 million in FY2026 from $79.4 million in FY2025 and $93.6 million in FY2024; total debt declined to $370.2 million from $385.1 million.
Disciplined, internally focused investment
Capital spending remained focused on technology and pharmacy capacity: FY2026 investing cash outflows were $16.1 million, including $11.9 million for software and capitalized internal-use development and $4.2 million for property and equipment. The company did not repurchase common stock and does not expect to pay common dividends in the foreseeable future.
What to watch

And the other side of it.

The offsets in the same document — the things a summary that only listed the good news would have left out.

NYSE minimum-price deficiency
NYSE compliance became a material new risk during FY2026. On March 19, 2026, the company received notice that its average closing share price had been below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading days; on August 10, 2026, it said it planned to seek approval for a reverse stock split. Failure to regain compliance could lead to suspension and delisting.
DOJ litigation remains unresolved
The DOJ False Claims Act matter progressed materially: on March 26, 2026, the court denied defendants' motions to dismiss on all counts other than unjust enrichment, and the company filed its answer on May 22, 2026. The complaints seek treble damages, civil penalties and costs, while the company has not accrued a liability because it has not concluded that a loss is probable.
Carrier concentration is intensifying
Revenue concentration increased with a small group of carriers. UHC, Humana and Aetna represented 39%, 13% and 12% of FY2026 revenue, respectively, compared with 37%, 15% and 11% in FY2025; carrier agreements are typically terminable without cause on 30 days' notice. Two insurance carrier customers also represented 34% and 21% of accounts and commissions receivable.
Debt and preferred obligations constrain cash
The capital structure remains burdensome despite lower total debt. As of June 30, 2026, term-loan borrowings were $323.0 million, asset-backed notes were $63.9 million, and preferred stock had a $423.2 million liquidation preference. Preferred dividends accrue at 14.5% annually unless specified conditions permit a reduction to 13.5%, and the implied effective interest rate is approximately 19.0%.
Senior volumes and economics decline
Senior operating momentum continues to weaken: total submitted policies fell 6% in FY2026 to 713,192, approved policies fell 4% to 638,824, and MA lifetime value per approved policy declined to $873 from $884 in FY2025 and $910 in FY2024. Senior revenue declined 8% in FY2025 and another 4% in FY2026.
Renewal estimates create earnings volatility
The company is exposed to estimation risk in commission revenue. The FY2026 commissions-receivable roll-forward included a positive $22.2 million adjustment from changes in estimates, including a $16.5 million positive Senior adjustment; the model uses a 10-year renewal period and applies a 15% MA product-specific constraint. Actual lapse or persistency trends could reverse previously recognized revenue.
