What stood out

The parts that mattered.

Pulled out of the filing itself, with the figures the company reported.

Revenue beat and accelerated
Revenue was $2.739 billion, exceeding the $2,708,976,112 consensus estimate by 1.1%. Revenue increased approximately 13.2% from $2.42 billion in the prior quarter and 36.3% from $2.01 billion in the prior-year quarter.
Adjusted EPS exceeded estimates
Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $0.94 versus the $0.87 consensus estimate, an 8.1% beat. EPS increased from $0.04 in the prior quarter and $0.22 in the prior-year quarter.
Data Center growth remained strong
Data Center revenue rose 46% year over year to $2.1715 billion, making it the primary disclosed growth driver. The company identifies Data Center as a key end market and operates as a single reporting segment.
Gross margin expanded
GAAP gross margin was 53.1%, up from 52.1% in the prior quarter and 50.4% in the prior-year quarter, an improvement of 1.0 and 2.7 percentage points, respectively.
Raised near-term outlook
Management guided to Q3 revenue of $3.150 billion +/- 5%, or approximately $2.9925 billion to $3.3075 billion, and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $1.10 +/- $0.05, or $1.05 to $1.15.
Revolver remained undrawn
Liquidity included $5.0 billion of total debt outstanding, an undrawn $1.5 billion revolving credit facility, and $5.1 billion remaining under the stock-repurchase authorization as of August 1, 2026.
What to watch

And the other side of it.

The offsets in the same document — the things a summary that only listed the good news would have left out.

Customer and geographic concentration
Customer concentration remains material: the ten largest customers represented 82% of fiscal 2026 revenue, while sales to customers with operations in Asia represented 84% of revenue in the current quarter versus 76% in the prior-year quarter.
Advanced semiconductor supply constraints
TSMC is the sole source foundry for all advanced process-node wafers, including 3nm products. The filing states that advanced wafer fabrication, advanced packaging and large-body substrates remain supply constrained, causing increased lead times and costs.
Potential equity dilution increased
The company issued a warrant for up to 58,970,907 common shares at an exercise price of $206.58 per share and disclosed that Celestial AI could require issuance of 24.4 million additional shares through fiscal 2029 under its earnout arrangement.
AI deployment and EDA dependency
AI infrastructure demand may be delayed by labor shortages, supply-chain bottlenecks, power and water constraints, permitting delays and local opposition. The filing also notes that approximately 75% of the global EDA market is expected to be controlled by three companies after the Synopsys-Ansys merger.
Goodwill impairment exposure
The company had $13.9 billion of goodwill and $2.3 billion of acquired intangible assets as of August 1, 2026. A decline in market capitalization or operating performance could trigger impairment testing and significant non-cash charges.
