BETA earnings analysis

What we found in BETA's 10-Q: the parts that mattered, the offsets in the same document, and what the company said about what comes next.

Our reading of the filing · Free to read, no account needed

BETA delivered strong Q2 revenue growth, with revenue of $14.658 million up 146% year over year, led by service revenue, but profitability deteriorated materially as operating expenses rose 98% to $166.139 million. Gross margin fell to 54.7% from 80.1% a year earlier, and the company reported a $148.753 million net loss and $(0.64) diluted EPS. Liquidity remains considerable at $1.479 billion, but first-half operating cash burn of $170.241 million and capex of $65.289 million indicate continued substantial funding needs.

The offsets in the same document — the things a summary that only listed the good news would have left out.

Operating losses remain substantial
Q2 net loss was $148.753 million and loss from operations was $158.118 million, producing an operating margin of negative 1,078.9%; the operating loss was approximately twice the $79.320 million loss in Q2 2025.
