What the wires are covering — grouped by story, scored for tone

Market-wide news desk: every wire on one tape, tellings of one story grouped under the newest, each story scored for tone. The rail keeps the last day legible -- an hourly AI desk brief, the tone split, a week of tone as a chart, and the most-covered tickers with their day moves.
How to use
Narrow the feed with the chips -- Market vs Companies, a topic, a tone -- or type a ticker into the Symbol box; every filter lives on the URL, so a narrowed view can be shared or saved
Click a story's ticker chips to jump to everything about that name; index symbols like SPY read the market-wide feed
New stories announce themselves in the strip ("N new stories -- load") instead of reshuffling the page; load them with a click or the r key
"Earlier coverage" under a story reads the archive for how the theme built up
Suggested actions
Start the session on the desk brief, then click a driver's ticker chip to read everything behind it
A "Moving" badge means the story's subject is up or down 2%+ today -- coverage plus price action is what market-moving looks like
Save a view for the names you trade (one symbol, one tone) and reopen it from the header or the command palette
Pro Tip:
Coverage breadth is the tell: a story three or more outlets retold wears the Top story treatment, and breadth plus a price move is a stronger signal than either alone. The tone chart's shifts matter more than its level -- a red day after a green week reads differently than a red week.
