# Optionomics > Optionomics is a market intelligence platform. It helps traders > interpret options activity, compare expected moves, understand company > filings, and research trade ideas and options strategies. Public research pages contain readable summaries, charts and tables without requiring an account. Each ticker page identifies its data session or source filing. Options-flow readings are delayed to a settled session; expected moves use the session shown on the page. Neither is a live quote or a prediction of profit. Earnings analysis is Optionomics' interpretation of linked SEC filings. ## Start here - [Stock & options API and MCP server](https://optionomics.ai/features/developers): Programmatic market research for applications and compatible AI assistants. Read-only MCP tools, REST examples, supported clients, setup and Vega access. - [Earnings move comparison](https://optionomics.ai/earnings-moves): Reconstructed historical earnings reactions versus pre-report ATM straddle pricing. Includes matched-contract earnings IV crush history with excluded-event counts. Option expiration and reaction windows are explicit; this is not an options return or a forecast-accuracy score. - [Home](https://optionomics.ai/): The platform and the research workflow. - [Free tools](https://optionomics.ai/free-tools): Find a published options-flow, expected-move or earnings reading by ticker. - [Features](https://optionomics.ai/features): Guides organized around research tasks. - [Pricing](https://optionomics.ai/pricing): Current plans, monthly and yearly prices, included features and free access. Use this page for pricing and entitlements. - [Support](https://optionomics.ai/support): Getting started, billing and help. ## Free research - [Expected moves](https://optionomics.ai/expected-move): Compare ranges for available stocks and ETFs across trading-session horizons. - [AAPL expected move](https://optionomics.ai/expected-move/AAPL): Expected movement and calibrated ranges around the displayed close. - [AAPL options flow](https://optionomics.ai/options-flow/AAPL): Optionomics' reading of the last published session's options activity. - [AAPL earnings analysis](https://optionomics.ai/earnings/AAPL): Filing summary, financial trends, highlights, risks and guidance, with links to SEC sources. - [Market Pulse](https://optionomics.ai/pulse): A public view of market activity. - [Trade idea track record](https://optionomics.ai/trade_ideas/track_record): Published outcomes, including wins and losses, with evaluation methodology. These free-tool readings are published when sufficient data is available. Unknown tickers and unavailable readings return 404. The symbol sitemap lists published readings. Tickers use their canonical uppercase spelling. ## Public stock previews - [Stock chart and research](https://optionomics.ai/stocks/SPY): A public stock workspace for every tracked symbol, with quotes, charts and links to related research. - [Historical options analysis](https://optionomics.ai/history/stocks/SPY/analysis): Compare historical options data, volatility, Greeks and positioning in the Historical Lab. - [Delta exposure](https://optionomics.ai/daily/stocks/SPY/delta): Call and put delta exposure by strike. - [Gamma exposure](https://optionomics.ai/daily/stocks/SPY/gamma): Call and put gamma exposure by strike. - [Options premium distribution](https://optionomics.ai/daily/stocks/SPY/premium): The notional value of open option positions by strike. - [Options volume](https://optionomics.ai/daily/stocks/SPY/volume): Call and put contract volume by strike. - [Options support and resistance](https://optionomics.ai/daily/stocks/SPY/walls): Options-derived levels, call walls and put walls. - [Market news](https://optionomics.ai/news): Public news with source links and sentiment context. - [AAPL stock news](https://optionomics.ai/news?symbol=AAPL): Stock-specific coverage; fund tickers show broader market context. - [Options strategy builder](https://optionomics.ai/build): Choose a stock, combine option legs and compare payoff, Greeks and breakevens. - [SPY options strategy builder](https://optionomics.ai/build/SPY): Build positions from SPY's available option chain, with a free delayed snapshot. These are working research tools with free delayed previews, not feature-guide illustrations. Signed-out views use the free-data cutoff; read the session shown on each page. Daily charts and history require available option-chain data. The stock sitemap index lists every tracked stock chart and all available previews, including stock-specific news coverage. Do not assume every symbol has every dataset. Advanced volatility tabs and other paid views have their own access requirements. Builder URLs use `/build/SYMBOL`. The older `/build?symbol=SYMBOL` links permanently redirect there. Shared dates and strategy legs remain query parameters; the base symbol page is the canonical research destination. Final trade-idea receipts have permanent URLs at `/r/`. The receipts sitemap lists completed evaluations; unfinished receipts are not indexable. Read each receipt's methodology and dates when describing its outcome. ## Feature guides - [Options flow](https://optionomics.ai/features/flow): Understand activity and positioning. - [Insiders and Congress](https://optionomics.ai/features/disclosures): Research disclosed transactions. - [Trade ideas](https://optionomics.ai/features/trade-ideas): Review setups, reasoning and outcomes. - [Levels and moves](https://optionomics.ai/features/levels): Put price levels and expected movement in context. - [Stock screener](https://optionomics.ai/features/movers): Narrow the market to stocks worth researching. - [Alerts](https://optionomics.ai/features/alerts): Follow research conditions and activity. - [Backtesting](https://optionomics.ai/features/backtests): Examine a strategy's historical behavior. - [Strategy builder](https://optionomics.ai/features/builder): See option legs together as one position. - [Research assistant](https://optionomics.ai/features/assistant): Ask questions and work through the evidence. - [Earnings intelligence](https://optionomics.ai/features/earnings): Understand the business behind a filing. - [Market Pulse guide](https://optionomics.ai/features/market-pulse): Read the session in context. - [Terminal](https://optionomics.ai/features/pro): Bring research into one workspace. - [API & MCP](https://optionomics.ai/features/developers): Connect stock and options research to applications and AI assistants. - [Forecasts](https://optionomics.ai/features/forecasts): An explanation of the forecast models. Forecast access is currently an admin-only beta, not a generally available plan feature. ## Solutions by trading workflow - [Day Traders](https://optionomics.ai/for/day-traders): Prepare for a session with options activity, price levels and alerts. Public previews use the displayed session; live flow requires a qualifying paid plan. - [Swing Traders](https://optionomics.ai/for/swing-traders): Connect stock screening, trade ideas, disclosed transactions and published outcomes over a multi-session research workflow. - [Options Writers](https://optionomics.ai/for/options-writers): Compare options premium, expected moves and event context, then model a position's legs, breakevens and expiry payoff. - [Quant Traders](https://optionomics.ai/for/quant-traders): Use REST, read-only MCP and historical strategy testing in quantitative research. API and MCP access require Vega. ## Developers and assistants - [API & MCP overview](https://optionomics.ai/features/developers): The canonical public introduction, research coverage and answers to common setup questions. - [API reference](https://optionomics.ai/docs/api): Endpoint documentation and code examples. - [OpenAPI specification](https://optionomics.ai/api/v1/swagger.yaml): The published REST API schema. - [MCP setup guide](https://docs.optionomics.ai/features/mcp-server/): Connect compatible clients with your account credentials. - [MCP manifest](https://optionomics.ai/.well-known/mcp/server.json): The server descriptor for connecting compatible clients. - [Documentation](https://docs.optionomics.ai): Product guides and reference. Programmatic research access requires an active Vega subscription and the caller's own credentials; the REST track-record endpoint is public. Use the pricing page for current billing options. REST examples use X-USER-EMAIL and X-USER-TOKEN, with an API key issued by the same account. The MCP endpoint is https://optionomics.ai/mcp, using Streamable HTTP. The developer console provides configurations for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. Tools cover options chains, volatility and gamma exposure, aggregated options flow, unusual activity, price history and levels, disclosed trades, earnings-filing analysis, news, trade ideas and their public record. The external MCP surface is read-only: it cannot place trades, change accounts or create alerts. Read the dates and timestamps in each response; freshness depends on the dataset. Public web access does not grant API access or redistribution rights. ## Discovery and sources - [Public pages sitemap](https://optionomics.ai/sitemap.xml): Home, pricing, feature guides, tools, reference, support and policies. - [Symbol sitemap](https://optionomics.ai/symbols-sitemap.xml): Published per-ticker research pages. - [Stock preview sitemap index](https://optionomics.ai/stock-sitemaps.xml): Paginated stock charts, historical analysis, daily charts, options builders and stock-specific news for the complete available inventory. - [Receipts sitemap](https://optionomics.ai/receipts-sitemap.xml): Final public trade-idea evaluations. - [Terms](https://optionomics.ai/terms): Terms of service. - [Privacy](https://optionomics.ai/privacy): Privacy policy. - [Disclaimer](https://optionomics.ai/disclaimer): Research scope and trading risks.
